Consider Giving a Little to VYF this Giving Tuesday

This past year, the U.S. nearly lost its measles elimination status. Over 1,260 cases were reported across the country, many of which were tied to an outbreak in New York. We’ve also witnessed outbreaks of whooping cough, mumps and hepatitis A and B. As flu season begins, social media posts and discussions spreading myths about the vaccine remind us that disinformation about vaccines and about the dangers of vaccine-preventable diseases are still a problem online and beyond.
Beginning today with Giving Tuesday and throughout the rest of the month you will be asked to consider giving what you can to a cause that matters to you and your family. Vaccines are something we all benefit from, yet we often don’t stop to consider how much we owe to immunizations.
